We’re even more thrilled to be able to announce the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (”the ABC”) as a Major Partner to TEDxSydney.
The ABC is Australia’s national public broadcaster … (and a class act). It provides television, radio, online and mobile services throughout metropolitan and regional Australia, as well as overseas through the Australia Network and Radio Australia.
The ABC will oversee all video production for TEDxSydney, directing the multi-camera live filming and working closely with our Streaming Partner Viocorp to deliver the simulcast into the CarriageWorks foyer for the public event and, via a webstream, to a network of venue nodes and individual viewers located throughout Australia and the rest of the world. The ABC will also be helping out with the promotion of TEDxSydney, its content and its event day webstream … helping to spread Australian “Ideas Worth Spreading” far and wide.
