Alex enjoys working with volunteers as it brings together the ideas of community, service, learning and fun. Being based in Bondi but with an enduring wanderlust, Alex has worked in tourism, training facilitation and tour guiding and coordinates the Taronga Conservation Society Australia volunteer program, hoping to provide benefits to those involved beyond the expected. A longtime lover of all things TED, Alex loves long meandering conversations around new ideas, however, you will most often find her with headphones in listening to the latest podcast.
