Clarence Slockee

 

Clarence is an Aboriginal man from the Mindjingbal/Cudgenburra clan of the Bundjalung Nation on the NSW far north coast. A graduate of NAISDA, he is an accomplished musician and dancer. He spent a number of years as Aboriginal Education Officer with the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney and is well known as a presenter on the ABC’s Gardening Australia for the past 10 years. Clarence is currently the Director of Jiwah, a company specialising in community engagement to deliver best practise outcomes in horticulture, permaculture, ecology, urban biodiversity, plant thematics and landscape design.
