Conrad Hamill

Growing up a classical cellist and pianist, Conrad completed his formal training at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Graduating as a sought after multi-instrumentalist within the classical, contemporary and music theatre genres across Australia and New Zealand, he has performed at venues including the Sydney Opera House, Hamer Hall, The State Theatre and ANZ Arena for artists such as Michael Bublé, Gang of Youths, Kygo, Ministry of Sound, James Arthur, Jimmy Barnes and many more.

Through his own yoga and meditation practice, he knew the power of sound to elevate him to a greater sense of consciousness, authenticity and connection – and from this, grew a curiosity as to how he could harness his skills to support others, in a live setting, to do the same.

Two years later, Conrad has worked with yogis across Australia to explore, create and showcase original compositions to support physical movement in a live setting. In the face of COVID-19, Conrad relocated from Sydney to Byron Bay where he has been building a program for solo cello to be toured in 2021, working on an original album of music to support mindfulness and has been fortunate that yoga studios have provided a consistent stage for him to perform while all other concert halls remain closed.
