Lizzie Garrett

Customer Service Manager

 

Passionate about social change, diversity, and working towards a better world for all, Lizzie has worked in the Not-for-profit sphere for around 4 years, running a number of successful charitable sporting initiatives, particularly engaging the Australian sporting community to fundraise for education in developing countries around the world. In her spare time, Lizzie uses her tertiary training in musical theatre to explore how music and theatre can bring joy to those around her.

Lizzie attended her first TEDxSydney event in 2016, and joined the Customer Service team in 2017. Lizzie is excited to be Managing the Customer Service team in 2018, sharing the TEDxSydney vision to create and foster a sense of community amongst the people and organisations who continue to gather around this event; and to provide a cultural focus and impetus for conversation and debate.
