Stephen’s embarrassed to reveal how long he’s been working in media & communications. Suffice to say, the year he started as a copyboy on Sydney’s Daily Telegraph Malcolm Fraser was still in his first term as Prime Minister and Rod Stewart was still the template for men’s fashion and hair styling. In the decades since Stephen’s worked across print, broadcasting and online as a news reporter, foreign correspondent, current-affairs producer, arts presenter, cultural commentator and very occasional & extremely casual filmmaker (he won the first Tropfest – his mates were the judges and the prize back then was a latte cup and one free coffee a day for three months.) He now devotes most of his time to helping people tell their own stories through his media-training business, Feneley + Co.
