Sometimes magic happens as it did at TEDxSydney 2010. For this first TEDxSydney by the current organising team almost 30 live speakers and performers presented on the main stage within the Bay 17 theatre of Carriageworks before a selected audience of 700, many of whom had flown in for the event from other parts of Australia and the rest of the world. The event immediately established TEDxSydney as a leading platform and pipeline for the propagation of Australian ideas, innovation and creativity to the rest of the world. Talks from this event selected to be re-edited and uploaded to TED.com included the talks by Rachel Botsman and Nigel Marsh.
