Bio

Tony’s directing style of comedic realism and high concepts has seen him win a multitude of awards. He was the co-creator and director of the Wilfred series for SBS, now also a hit series in the US. He’s recently directed Bruce, a hilarious comedy series set in Australia’s first share house; a convict tent set in Sydney Cove in 1788. His first feature film was the highly acclaimed Rats & Cats, a quirky but realistic look into the lives of an unexpected group of Aussies passing time in the fictitious coastal town of Gladdington. Tony directed How to Talk Australians, a hilarious look inside an Indian call training centre. Rob and Tony wrote and produced the 8-part web series together. Rob won the Comedy Gold pitching competition at SPAA, and wrote and produced I Can’t Believe it’s Not Better for Foxtel’s Comedy Channel. His book Images You Should Not Masturbate to was published by Penguin, New York.
