TEDxSydney 2020 will now take place on Friday 6 November 2020 at ICC Sydney.

To those who have registered to attend, your registration has been automatically transferred to this new November date, and you don’t have to do anything else at this time. We really look forward to greeting you then at what will be a wonderful opportunity to regather as a community to explore our now-very-relevant theme of REAL.
TEDxSydney is a break-even (when we’re lucky) not-for-profit organisation, and we rely heavily on our registration revenue to fund our operation throughout the year. As with many cultural organisations throughout Australia (and the world), the past few weeks have been tough. We need our registration revenue to survive.
To that end, and if you definitely can’t attend on our new date, it would really help if you could find someone to whom you could transfer your place (you have until the end of October to find someone to take your place). Or, perhaps you may consider gifting your registration fee to TEDxSydney, in support of our work. Your generosity would help us survive during this unprecedented period of disruption and financial peril.
TEDxSydney 2020 Registration Options
The best option is simply to transfer your registration to a friend, colleague or family member. This transfer can happen at any time prior to 31 October 2020, so you don’t have to know who you will transfer your registration to straight away. (Please note that Not-for-Profit and Concession registrations must be transferred to another person eligible for these registration types.)
The process is easy and there is no fee. Simply let us know that you can’t make 6 November 2020 and wish to transfer your registration. We will resend your registration link, which can then be passed on to a friend, colleague or family member any time between now and 31 October 2020.

If you can’t attend and are in a position to gift your registration fee to TEDxSydney to support our work and help us survive through this period of intense global disruption, we would be forever grateful.
While we are not eligible to provide tax-deductible donation receipts, we will be coming up with exciting ways to thank you for your generosity as the year goes on. Stay tuned!
