TEDxSydney is the leading platform and pipeline for the propagation of Australian ideas, creativity and innovation to the rest of the world. The 7th annual TEDxSydney event took place within the Concert Hall of the Sydney Opera House on Wednesday 25 May 2016.

As with previous TEDxSydney events, the full day of programming blended brand new talks from a fascinating range of speakers, unique live performances and a special film programFind out more about all of our 2016 speakers and performers here.

In addition to 2,500 attendees in the Concert Hall, over 23,000 people watched the livestream of the event at one of over 280 free satellite events. The TEDxSydney Satellites program launched in 2013 and 75,000 people have participated in the program, both here in Australia and all over the world.  Visit our Satellites page for more details.

For those aged 16-26, our TEDxYouth@Sydney event was staged simultaneously at the Sydney Opera House on Wednesday 25 May 2016.
