A performance and short Q&A with Elijah Smith, one of the young members of the Just Reinvest’s Youth project Mounty Yarns.
A unique program which gathers the stories, expertise and knowledge by and with Aboriginal young people with lived experience of the criminal justice system and the impact it has had on these young people and their families. Mounty Yarns provides these young people with workshops, activities and guidance from elders.
Elijah Smith is a young Wiradjuri man who has grown up in Mt Druitt on Dharug Land. He likes to express his and other young peoples stories through music and advocacy and is a part of the innovative justice project, Mounty Yarns.
