The Myths About Violence Against Women In The Media | Jane Gilmore

Jane Gilmore

TEDxSydney 2017 · 16 June 2017

After seeing the descriptions in headlines and articles about violence against women committed by men, journalist Jane Gilmore set out to fix it … by fixing the language itself. In this talk she corrects the myths about violence against women and puts a case for why there need to be cultural change in the media.
