A Collective Performance pictures numerous political demonstrations occurring in New York City between 2017-2018. This five-channel experimental stop-motion video is a meditation on the current wave of civil unrest since the inauguration of Donald Trump.

Stacy Arezou Mehrfar works in photography, video and installation. Currently based in New York, she resided in Sydney from 2008-2016 where she completed an MFA, Research, at UNSW Art & Design and was a lecturer at several arts colleges.  She has exhibited at the Australian Centre of Photography, State Library of NSW, Obscura Festival, International Center of Photography, and ClampArt, among others. Stacy has received multiple grants, awards and residencies, including the Australian Post Graduate Award, Arts NSW Grant, Australian Artist Grant, Camera Club of NY Residency, and awards from Moran Arts Foundation, Head On, PDN, and Photobook Melbourne.
